A happy kid is every parent’s dream. However, it looks like a far fledged one unless we have some miracle happening on a daily basis. What if we tell you that this is not beyond reach and there are some amazing things that you can carry out throughout the day and keep your super excited, curious soul happy go lucky? We got together some tried and tested toddler activities for you and we are ready to unveil it to make your life a little better.
  • Involve them in the household chores

While you are sitting on a laptop for some work, having your breakfast or on an important call, hand over small pieces of clean rags to your toddler. Show them how to wipe a table and they would love to imitate you. Isn’t’ it a good idea? You are sitting around them but they are on their own doing something happily. We all crave for such sights. Don’t we?   Cleaning the table fun Cleaning the table fun
  • Shape it out using flour

Wheat or refined flour is an easily available item in every household. You can make hard dough out of it and help them make stars, circle, square, triangles etc. out of it. In fact, you can use food color too to make it more interesting. It’ll feel like a toddler activity center at home if you invite some more kids from the neighborhood just to add a little more fun.   Toddler having fun with dough Toddler having fun with dough
  • The through and through act

Don’t throw away the tube that stays behind the paper towel you use in the kitchen. Just stick it onto a preferred wall with colourful tape. Get some colourful thick small sized rubber bands and ask your energy filled toddler to pass it through. There is no noise and they are super busy with the activity.   They'd love it They'd love it
  • Let them have some screen time

Don’t go bonkers by not allowing them to watch some videos over the TV. Having said that I don’t encourage an all-day TV Marathon, however, let them watch some rhymes, color, letters or numbers, you’ll be amazed that they will learn a lot from it.   Let them have some fund Let them have some fund
  • Stick it on

The stationary is loaded with colourful chart papers (for fun sake, you might as well call them toddler activity sheets) Buy a medium to large sized stickers (animals, shapes, smileys) to be safe as these tiny little monsters can just put the small ones into their mouth too.   Sticking is fun Sticking is fun
  • Pretending is irresistible

Your two year old would surely have a lot of toys. All you need to do is, procure some Eco-friendly glasses, spoons, and bowls. Help them learn to pretend to play by making them feed the toys through empty bowls or plates. Your child is going to get an amazing feeling of responsibility and happiness while doing this task.   They Love to pretend They Love to pretend   On that note, have some lovely words from Dorothy Corkille Briggs” The toddler craves independence, but he fears desertion”
